Anti-Christianity and the Burning Stupid

Shall I dissect?  Or shall I have mercy?  I can't decide.

Well Chris, at least it was mere theft that caused the advertisement to vanish and not a breaching of law in the category of "indecency." For that would require our secular society to be consistent for Pete's sake, and it might even mean that the notion of "tolerance" somehow can be pinned down, and actually cut both ways, lending itself to some minimal usage afterall.

On the sign it says this;

"Religion is but myth and superstition that hardens hearts and enslaves minds."

Wow! Can you say that again? It kind of sounds like if I starved myself, sang Hare Krishna songs all day, did manual labor 14 hours a day so that my mind kind of goes into a trance and my will power becomes minimal, just maybe, even for a moment, I might actually BELIEVE such a creed against religion, and in my stupor be convinced this airy-headed mythical sounding slogan sounds plausible.
